The industrial lighting grant awarding scheme which is administered by the University of Nottingham Grant Scheme enables eligible businesses the chance to apply for up to 40% in grants for the purchase and installation of new LED lighting systems.
Funding is also dependent on meeting the project limits of between £2,500 and £20,000. The business must also be located within the boundaries of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and these businesses must fall within the EU’s definition of a small or medium enterprise (SME).
Businesses must book a number of site surveys with LED lighting specialists to prove they can meet the required energy savings. These are also submitted to the University of Nottingham Grant Scheme to ensure they meet the required levels.
