This privacy policy outlines how Owled handle and protect data you provide whilst using the website. We treat customer data with the highest regard. You can be assured that data which is provided via our website will be treated with the strictest of privacy and in accordance with the following policy. Owled may amend the policy at certain times so please check back regularly to ensure you remain happy with the policy.

The information you provide enables us to offer an efficient and high quality service in the following areas;

From time to time we may call or send emails from Owled regarding market surveys
Occasionally email or make calls notifying you of products which relate to previous purchases or that are noted from survey preferences. To provide the client with the highest quality service

We are committed to the protection of the above data by using the strongest forms of security available. We do this by operating computerised, physical and company codes of practice to secure our clients’ data.

All transactions are carried out through secure bank transfers.

How you can control your data

You may edit your personal preference such as how we collect marketing data.

You may prohibit promotional calls or emails when submitting personal information via Owled’s website.

If you initially chose to accept promotional communications but no longer wish to do so, please contact info@owled.co.uk to confirm your change of preference.

This method may also be used should you wish for us to completely remove your data from our records. However, complete removal of all a customer’s information during the warranty period would result in the termination of the warranty.
At no point will we sell your information to third parties without prior permission.

Under the Data Protection Act of 1998 you are permitted to see the entire set of data we hold relating to you. For a hard copy please write to our postal address. If you believe for any reason that any information we hold about you is incomplete or incorrect, please notify us by email or post at the above address. We will not hesitate to remediate the identified error.

How long do we hold your Information for?

We hold client data for a maximum of one year after the expiration of the client’s warranty or before this length should the client wish.

How we destroy your information?

Upon request or at the end of the period we keep your data Owled will delete all records from our electronic databases and destroy all physical information ensuring personal data is no longer legible.

Our website may contain links to other websites, independent of Owled, which may be deemed of use to you. Once you have transferred to the independent website Owled therefore ceases responsibility for any information may you provide.
